thinking about passion, what is your passion what is my passion? so the big question for me is what is my passion? i do so many things but what is my love? what gets me out of bed in the mornings? so for the next 10 mins i’m just gonna type and see if my passion finds it’s way to the surface. so what are the things that i like doing, well i enjoy working with people i would say that i am a people person, i enjoy teaching, loved it the other day doing a mime a nd clowning class, that was real fun, yeah i loved doing that, i got some work doing story telling, well it’s more about story performance where they explore various styles of story telling then create their own perfformance, that sounds like fun to, i do have a little anxiaty about it for some reason, that old voice saying that your not good enough again, but you must be as they picked you to do it and they have faith in you, what ever it is you are worried about face it and see it for what it is, then you can challenge it and deal with it. the other thing i love is my coaching, i love it.. i like it.. i enjoy it, yeah i do i enjoy working with people and making a difference, so how come i dont feel like its a real passion? i read about it all the time, i listen to podcasts about it, i join website that talk about it, including linked in. so it must be a passion, it’s my hidden passion that i need to let out, let the world know that that is what i am about, just go for it, stop being afraid. i am a great coach, so be great, make your stand and go for it, there is nothing to loose and everything to gain, remember all the things that you have read about, you know what you need to do all you have to do is do it, take a deep breath and one step at a time. smile and laugh and be happy that you have found your calling and answer the call. there are lots of people who have been doing it for years who have peoduct and everything, but they are not you and you are amazing, so be amazing, shine like a star, reach for your goal, see yourself as a fantastic coach with people calling you up wanting you to work with them, paying for your time,do it rob, do it for you know you can, how could you ever think that you could not, just look at all your books, all the ones that you have read, your collection yet to read. just look at your little book of affirmations, you were born to do this, hear the call my friend, answer the call, be proud of what you do, stand tall, be fucking fantastic.

one step at a time

had a busy day today, sat at the computer for many hours then a session of coaching in north london, how fantastic it is to be a coach, working with people to be the best that they can be, helping them to see where they want to go, what they want to be, and at the same time always moving forward, positive forward, taking the steps one at a time. there are many books written on positive action, being your true self, making a difference, and they are all a great read, however the greatest thing of all is when you actually do it, take the lessons and apply them to yourself, your life, that is the only way that change can happen, if you want it to happen that is and there are some people who are happy where they are, happy doing what they do, and for them that is fine, but if you want change, you want to reach your goals and dreams, then take action, take action and then take action, some action is just thinking about what you want, other actions are just saying yes to opportunity and then there is coaching, working with someone to set out your goals, hear what it is you want to do or be, set out an action plan, the step that help you move forward on your journey, and take action. some of the actions are small and little steps, some are big one, those big life changing steps, some actions require us to be confident and strong, to step outside of fear and be that grand person that you are, that we are, for even your coach, even me have those moments, minutes, hours and days when your a little down, not that Titan that you want to be, and then you remember an affirmation, a word, a picture, a feeling and bang your back up there, big and strong and ready to live your life the way you want to. take that chance, make that leap, take a step, one step at a time and live your life.

recently i have had the pleasure of being around people who inspire me, people who are so passionate about what they do that it flows from their very being, there is a glow that surrounds them, an energy that flows from them to you, that’s if you are lucky, and i was lucky and have been caught up in their glow, their flow, and it makes you wanna do stuff, makes me want to make a difference, as that is what they do, they make a difference with all that passion, as they move through the world a difference cascades around them, wonderful things happen and they are always happy, smiling, and willing to help. so now i want to make a difference and the challenge is how, so i’m a life coach and coaching people to achieve their goals is what i do, so how can i help more people as i only help a few at the moment, how can i grow, let people know i’m here and ready to help them make a difference? and how can i be accessible to them, financially that is, because giving it away doesn’t feed the kids, so how how? that is the question…perhaps a website! a fanpage! or facebook thing…how do i let people know i am here? perhaps it’s about my passion, perhaps i need to inspire others by my energy and flow and glow, so that i shine like a beacon drawing those that need me to me, so glow i must, shine and inspire and if you need me follow the light

i was thinking the other day about heroes, what is it that makes someone your hero, what is it that they they do, how do they make you feel, and how does one become a hero! and it reminded me of something i saw on tv or maybe i read it somewhere, where they were saying that you do not decide to become a hero, but the situation demands it. it’s not so much about what you want to do but about what you have to do, so you cannot become a hero unless you are in a situation that cries out for one. every day people cry out for a hero, they want to be saved form the world that they surround themselves in, people looking for new options. now there is nothing wrong with your world or mine for that fact, however sometimes we want something else, sometimes we want to be that person that we dream about and we need a little help becoming that person, living that dream. and that’s when they look for their heroes, sometimes they are found in books or websites, dvd’s and seminars, groups and coaches, hey i’m a coach…does that make me a hero? well i guess i’m a hero of sorts, i’d like to think i help people, is that ego talking or is it something else, have i been placed in a situation with the skills that are needed? are people coming to me looking for options? so if i’m a hero i need to hone my skills, learn my craft, be at the top of my game and most of all be ready for when the call comes.

walk, run, fly

there are things we can do to take hold of our power, to hold a light up to the path and walk the way of the warrior. it feels like i have reached that cross road, and i have a choice, which way do i want to walk! one direction is doing what i’ve been doing without any real direction or focus, just bumbling along and seeing what happens. the other way says take hold of your destiny, step up to the plate and walk the walk my son, stand tall and be who you want to be, stop being afraid of what might happen, understand it is all learning and all you do is get better and better. people all around me talk of how i have an energy, a way of making them smile or feel better, so why am i standing at the cross road, why not walk down that road, using all my understandings to help people create the life that they want. i know what the path is, i know what the walk is, all i have to do is walk it, stand up and take that first step and if i fall get back up again like that small child learning to walk, never giving up, enjoying the challenge. maybe that’s it, i have to find a way to enjoy the challenge, wake up every morning and say ok day lets get it on, lets stand up and walk, no lets jump up and run, take this big smile, this big ball of energy and share it with the world.

sitting here in silence with my lap top keys clicking as i type away is almost like a waking meditation, i begin to see things clearly, it all starts to fall into place, i know what i have to do and what i have to do is do it, that’s it simply do it, get on with it, smile and love myself and make it happen, i can feel the energy just under the surface, a smile on my lips, a glow in my eyes, my mind humming as the words flow out of me, not needing to think about it, just letting it out, letting it flow, letting the universal energy flow through me, i close my eyes and see the sea of energy before me, enough for everyone, i reach out and place my fingers, my hand into the energy and it flows up my arm across my chest, filling my whole body. i have the energy, i have the power, it’s been there all the time waiting for me to be ready.

so now i am ready and i take the step, i step up, i stand and be counted. i open myself to the universe and i offer myself to the universe. i do the things that need to be done, for action is the key. i take action. i feel aglow with excitement, i am so excited now that i know and the funny thing is i’m not sure what i know, all i know is that it is time, the time is right and i am ready. watch me glow, watch me shine, come shine with me i welcome you all.

walking the walk

today i woke up full of tensions and anxiety, mainly around the ideas of work and my age. having recently turned 40 i am undergoing what some might call my mid life crises, what have i done with my life, where am i in the ladder of my career, the size of my house and bank balance…so after being in the shower for about 20 minutes, the place where i do a lot of my thinking, i decided to write down what i was thinking about and make a plan of action so that on monday i could get them in order, plan and take action. this is something i would do with my clients, work on what they were doing and what they were not doing, then begin to brainstorm the options and then chose what they wanted to do, so if i can do it with clients why am i not doing it for myself?

So what to do, well there is only one answer to that really and that is to do it, take action. you are a wonderful coach so coach yourself, ask yourself the question, listen to the answers and ask the tough questions, push yourself and take the steps of action that enable you to reach for your goals. give yourself clear objective, not too fara way that make it easy to give up, but far enough to stretch you out of your comfort zone.

Today i begin a 30 day plan, starting with meditation, mindmaps, todo lists and plans, with clear goals attached and celebrations, today i begin walking the walk, stepping up, making my mark in the sand and becoming the very best that i can be and beyond.

been a long time since i last blogged, been a busy boy but have decided that i got to get back to writing every day, every night because deep down it’s one of the things that i want to do and i guess if you dont do it your not doing it, got to take action. action is the key. so what have i been busy doing? well apart from running workshops and project managing, i’ve been training to become a life coach, and wow that has been great, got me thinking about love life and everything. so what does that mean, well it’s all about self discovery. the more you work with others looking into their changes you begin to think about your own changes, challenges and goals. how you’ll get they, what you need to do to make action happen

just a thought

ok focus on yourself for a moment, take sometime just for you, let your mind go and go with the flow, let it all pour out, like turning on a tap and watching it run, no question no comment just observations, what do you see when you look at you? what do you feel? what changes as you change? how do you change? change what is it? is it what happens in the mind and then reflected in the physical, are we all governed by our thoughts! we think and things happen, we draw them to us or become aware of them because we are thinking of them, like when you want a new car, a ford maybe, a blue one, and all you see are blue fords, like everyones gone out and bought them just so you can see what they look like!

law of attraction, well law of attraction i want to attract some great things over here, yep thats right i want to become wonderful, well when i say wonderful, what i am talking about is being wonderful at what i do, so what is it i do well i’m a coach a life coach that is and a trainer, somebody who helps you understand stuff, i stand up and explain it and take you through it and at the end you have a greater understanding or a new skill, or maybe you have just developed a skill that you already had or were not aware of. what else do you do, well i am a creative agent! whats that, is it like a secret agent, do you have a case and everything? yep i’m a secret agent, a secret agent of change, when i’m around change happens, sometimes fast change like a realisation and sometimes slow change as you understand yourself and your surrounds the picture becomes clear and so the change begins, i change peoples emotion, making them smile, be happy, enjoy themselves for what they are, gain in confidence, the confidence to do the things they want to do, to become the people they want to be….so who do i want to be, what confidence do i need, well i know i want to write a book, i often wonder what kind of book it will be and now i know, it will be this book, this collection of blogs put together into some-kind of story, be specific rob…..ok not some kind of story but the story of a journey, my journey, the journey of an idea, of wanting to be and then becoming, well not becoming, finding, that’s it a journey of me finding me, becoming happy with me and finding, discovering the power within, the magic, and what is that magic…it’s the magic to transform peoples lives with questions, to create a state of action and to accomplish goals, so what are my goals, for you have to do it yourself, walk that walk remember, ok the goal is to become a coach, your already there, ok to become an accredited coach, get that paperwork finished, write up those logs, finish my assignments, the itol one too, it’s already done, just needs to be cleaned up, set days aside to get it finished, become open to the universe so that it knows you are ready for your clients and they will come, put it out there, put it out there with passion and energy, with concentration and focus, and with a smile, a great big smile that brightens up the room, that shines like a star, attracting all around it, let them come bathe in the brightness, let it wash over you, warm you, allow you to be all you can be, for you are fantastic, f*@king fantastic all of you, just take that step, make that move, do that thing that makes you shine, for we are all stars, so dust your self off and let the glowing commence.

so no plans about what i’m going to say in this blog, just going to spend the next ten minutes writing and seeing what comes out, so hold on to your hats, it’s going to be a wild ride. so i’ve spent most of the weekend in bed or asleep on the sofa, friday night was all hot and bothered with a major runny nose, then slept most of saturday and while i was sleeping i did a lot of thinking, it’s funny what happens in the mind with a fever, i was thinking about what i am doing, what it all means and why? so only the small questions on life there, so what am i doing? well i’m training and coaching and being a creative agent, which mean managing creative projects all over the place, it’s great when you have a conversation with a group of people and that turns into a project, then find the right people to work on it to turn an idea into a reality, finding the right people can be challenging, but when it works it really works, and the results are fantastic. as to the coaching, i just love it, i so want to be great at it, i’m working my little butt off, reading all i can get my hands on, i am building up a little library here, and over the last few nights i’ve been reading about; eat that frog! by brian tracy and i am loving those ideas, so now i need to act on them, i’ve already go my to do list for tomorrow, now i need to action it. that’s my plan for this week, action the things i’ve read about and experience the results. i’ll let you know how the week goes. enjoy.

staying on the path

staying on the path can be a challenging affair, so we must employ all we can to help us walk that walk, so when you wake up in the morning what do you think about? make it a positive thought, get your day off to a good start, have things around you that make you smile and remind you of your path, your journey or goal. in your wallet have an affirmation so as you pay for you tickets, breakfast or lunch, it’s there to remind you. mid day reminder, take time to remind yourself of your journey, are you doing the things you want, being the person you desire to be? remember to be the things you want, act as if you are already there, you already have it in abundance, remember to smile, to glow, to be that person who brightens up the day, the sunshine behind the clouds. find time to meditate, in the morning or at the end of the day, just sit and listen to silence letting go of your ego

to stay on your path, follow your goals, live your dream, you have to employ all the help you can, icons, pictures, books, attitudes, all these things are part of our environment, allow them to help you, that includes the people around you, you can chose who you spend your time with, who you give your energy to, take a moment to think about that, who are you spending your time with?

and remember why you are doing what you do, following your path, on your journey, seeking your goal, the reason you do what you do will keep you motivated and motivation will help you stay on your path, walk your walk, be who you want to be.
